Project Information

We served as the full creative partner behind the launch of Grand Slam Track, a new professional track and field league founded by seven-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Johnson and built around prize money and global talent. D&C led the project end-to-end, from naming and brand identity through typography and visual systems, with a singular goal: to reframe track as a modern, culturally resonant professional sport. The name Grand Slam Track signals prestige and stakes, while the identity system — bold, speed-driven, and precise — positions the league alongside the world’s leading global franchises.

Working in close partnership with Johnson and the league’s leadership, D&C carried that vision across every launch touchpoint. We directed campaign photography and film, developed interstitial content for broadcast and social, and designed the league’s digital presence from the ground up.
